Located in close proximity to the Coventry University Group’s East London Campus in the Former Civic Centre, Becontree Heath, the site of the Three Travellers Public House was identified as a potential opportunity to deliver much needed student accommodation in support of the educational campus.
To a brief developed in association with the Campus, proposals have been developed to create an urban solution that maximises an underutilised site, incorporating a split commercial and parking podium base, with 175 unit student accommodation block rising above, wrapping around a landscaped courtyard amenity space.
